Storage instructions Keep refrigerated below 5°C at the bottom of the fridge. Once opened, keep refrigerated and use within 2 days and by date shown. Suitable for freezing. Freeze by date mark shown and use within one month. Defrost thoroughly at the bottom of the fridge before use and use within 24 hours. Never defrost in a warm room. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
Directions for use Always wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after handling raw meat. All appliances vary, the following are guidelines only. Oven: Remove shoulder from refrigerator and leave to rest at room temperature for 20-30 minutes. Preheat oven to Electric - 240°C, Fan - 220°C, Gas Mark - 9. Remove shoulder from packaging and place on a roasting tray. Reduce heat to Electric - 160°C, Fan - 140°C, Gas Mark - 3. Pour a half a cup of water around the shoulder, cover with foil and place on the middle shelf of a preheated oven. Cook for 3 hours. Remove shoulder from oven and allow to rest for 15 minutes before serving. Ensure product is thoroughly cooked and piping hot throughout, no pink meat remains and the juices run clear. Do not reheat.
