| Directions for use | Cooking Instructions - General - Directions for use Always wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after handling raw meat. All appliances vary, the following are guidelines only. Remove all packaging. Allow the steaks to reach room temperature before cooking. Remove the steaks from the grill/pan and allow to rest in a warm place for 3-5 minutes before serving. Ensure all surfaces of the steak are thoroughly cooked. Do not reheat. Not suitable for microwaving cooking. Grill - From Chilled - 4-16 minutes: Place under a preheated high grill and brown on both sides. Reduce the heat to a medium setting to finish cooking. Cook for: Rare: 4-10 minutes; medium: 8-12 minutes; well done: 12-16 minutes, turning occasionally. Shallow Fry - From Chilled - 4-16 minutes: Add a little oil to a pan and heat to the highest setting. Place steaks in the pan. Brown on both sides for 1-2 minutes to seal in juices, reducing the heat to a medium setting and continue to cook for rare: 3-8 minutes; medium: 5-12 minutes; well done: 10-16 minutes, turning occasionally. |
