| Directions for use | Always wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after handling raw meat. All appliances vary, the following are guidelines only. Allow the joint to reach room temperature before cooking. Remove all packaging. OVEN: Electric/ Fan/ Gas 180°C/ 160°C/ Gas 4 Add to a well-oiled frying pan and brown the meat on all sides. Place into a suitable casserole dish and add 125ml (1/4 pint) of water. Cover and place on the middle shelf of a preheated oven for 80-90 minutes. Allow to stand for 5 - 10 minutes in a warm place before serving. Remove the string before carving. Ensure product is thoroughly cooked and piping hot throughout, no pink meat remains and the juices run clear. Do not reheat. |
