Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C standard or 170°C fan.
  2. Peel and chop the carrots.
  3. Half the baby potatoes and pan fry on a medium heat with a little oil until they get a nice golden colour. Remove from the heat and set aside.
  4. In the same pan fry the onions and the beef until browned.
  5. Place the beef, onions, carrots & potatoes in a casserole dish.
  6. Blend the contents of the sachet in the casserole pack with 425ml of water and add to the casserole dish.
  7. Cover and cook for 1 and 3/4 hours until the beef is tender.
  8. Sprinkle over some thyme and salt and pepper.
  9. Enjoy with seasonal veg or crusty bread.
